Police in central Sweden are investigating immediately after two armed males stole students’ computer systems from their lecture rooms at knifepoint.
According to officers, two masked suspects interrupted a course at Rudbeckianska superior college in Västerås on Monday afternoon.
“The perpetrators then reportedly fled the university,” police stated in a afterwards assertion.
The suspects then tried using to hijack a car close to the city’s cathedral prior to becoming confronted by associates of the public.
A gentleman in his 40s was assaulted and injured by 1 of the suspects when he tried to chase them, police extra. Paramedics addressed the male at the scene.
No arrests have been manufactured, and officials say they have released an investigation into theft, tried seizing of a vehicle and assault.
“In the earlier, electronics have been stolen from universities, but then by means of split-ins and from empty premises,” police extra in a further statement.
